Henry Sauerbier is founder and principal Architect of Sauerbier Architects. Born and raised in Berlin, he completed a three-year apprenticeship as mechanic at Mercedes-Benz before he started to study mechanical engineering and architecture at TFH-Berlin.
After graduation in architecture, Henry worked extensively for over 20 years as an architect in Berlin, China, and Singapore at internationally renowned architecture offices such as Baumschlager Eberle Architekten Berlin, WSP-Beijing, and Kerry Hill Architects Singapore.
Among other roles, he served as the lead project architect for acclaimed projects like Martin Road No.38 in Singapore and Aman Kyoto in Japan.
Henry Sauerbier is a licensed architect recognised by the Board of Architects Singapore and is also a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects.
